Why does skyler give ted money

She and Walt eventually have sex for the first time in months, and slowly begin to rebuild their relationship. At the same time, however, she begins to fear him, and worries that her children are in danger. I think Walt loved them both equally. Walt came to care about Jesse just as much as Walter Junior and put Jesse in the same family category.

However, in my opinion Walt became closer to Jesse and ended up spending more time with him. The truth is that Walt did poison Brock — just not with ricin.

Instead, he used a Lily of the Valley plant which was growing in his backyard. I think that Skyler was right when she gave the money to Ted.

Like his character on the show, he has cerebral palsy. Serious spoiler about last episode: Jesse will never forgive Walt. Skyler launders the money to Ted by having Saul claim his Great Aunt in Luxembourg left it to him in her will. Ted tries to escape but trips on his rug and crashes his head. There was nothing to love, respect, or forgive. He tries to get help from Skyler, who now runs the car wash , but she refuses. She preforms a ruse that makes the IRS agent conclude that Ted's bookkeeping problems are due to her ignorance.

Miraculously, Ted is called to Saul Goodman 's office, where he is presented with a windfall from his "Great Aunt Birgid's" Luxembourg estate, of which Mr. Beneke is the sole remaining heir. When Skyler tells him that she was the source of the money she uses the Walt gambling story , Ted tries to return the money supposedly because it's the right thing to do, but possibly because he's blackmailing Skyler for an even greater sum when he openly claims settling the debt will not prevent him from going bankrupt " Crawl Space ".

Skyler contacts Saul for help, who sends his "A-Team", Huell Babineaux and Patrick Kuby , to Ted's home to force him to sign the check for the IRS and then keep him company at home for a few days until the check clears.

Panicked, Ted runs past Huell in an effort to escape from the house, but trips on an area rug, crashing headfirst into a piece of furniture. It appears that he may have broken his neck, but as of the end of the episode, his status is unconfirmed.

Later in the episode Walter returns to Saul Goodman's office, where Huell and Kuby are already present. Upon seeing Walter, Saul exclaims "How the hell did you find out so quickly? Skyler - who doesn't know about his earlier accident - first assumes that he has died, upon which Saul explains that Ted has actually woken up from his coma.

Skyler visits Ted at the hospital and finds him in very poor health due to his severe neck injury. He promises her that he will not say a word of what has happened to him to anybody. Ted is laid-back, sincere, and very charming - he appears to have not wished to do anything criminal, but merely wished to protect his father's business and its employees.

Gus walks out triumphant. Walt sees Tyrus watching Hank's home as he goes to pick up Hank for another day of watching Gus's farm. As they drive, however, Hank unexpectedly asks Walt to go to the industrial laundry where the superlab is hidden. Walt, taken by surprise and in a total panic, drives past the laundry's entrance then deliberately causes a car accident by turning into oncoming traffic. The accident added a new set of wounds to Walt's already battered face.

Hank announces that he's ordered a "gimp mobile," a new car with hand controls, so he doesn't have to get friends and family to drive him around. Walt looks concerned at this new development. When Ted tries to run for it, he trips over a rug that he'd earlier in the episode similarly tripped over and crashes headfirst into a wall.

The A-Team later confirm with Saul that at least the check was in the post and that what happened to Ted was an "act of God" beyond their control. Walt returns to work at the superlab by being concealed among dirty laundry, which he bitterly complains about.

Although Walt took four days off due to the accident with Hank, he soon discovers that someone had been cooking in the lab during that time: it must've been Jesse. That evening, Jesse hangs out at his house with Andrea Cantillo and Brock Cantillo , playing the video-game Sonic the Hedgehog when Walt shows up. He implores Jesse to not cook on his own, pointing out that he'll be killed if rendered unnecessary.

Jesse becomes furious and points out that the last time he came to him for help, Walt wished him stuffed dead in a barrel and buried somewhere in the desert. When Jesse goes back inside, Tyrus appears and tazes Walt into submission. He is covered with a hood and taken out to the desert where he meets with Gus, who tells Walt he's fired. Walt deduces that Jesse is preventing Gus from eliminating him.

Gus informs him Hank needs to be dealt with, and warns Walt that if he interferes he'll kill his entire family, including his infant daughter. Walt's then cut loose but left to make his own way out of the desert.
